The Bachelor’s and Associate’s Degree Programs in Information Systems Management are designed to train students in the field of information technology. This includes foundational knowledge of computer systems, software, and related technologies; system design and management within organizations; document creation; system development tailored to client requirements; data design and management; information system security against theft or destruction; data storage technologies; internet-based processing; and project management for system development, among others.
The Information Systems Management program equips students with the skills to effectively use and manage information systems within organizations or institutions. The curriculum includes practical training on how to use, adapt, and analyze information systems to help organizations achieve their business objectives. Key technical competencies of this major include Organizing office work systems Procedures for receiving and delivering essential information Defining objectives for information delivery Designing and developing systems for organizational management, such as production information systems, marketing information systems, human resource information systems, accounting and financial information systems, logistics information systems, and so on.
This program also serves as a foundational training path, helping students to develop professional competencies and qualify for roles such ass assistant data system administrators, technical specialists in information systems customization, data entry and data management personnel, operators in information technology and telecommunications.
