The program focuses on comprehensive language skill development (listening, speaking, reading, writing), literary and cultural understanding, translation, pedagogical methods, educational psychology, and information technology. Enhanced by instruction from native Chinese professors from the Chinese Language Institute of the Royal Academy of Cambodia and a 6-credit teaching practicum, the curriculum ensures international standards and practical job readiness.
This program aims to cultivate proficient graduates equipped with extensive knowledge of at least 2,500 Chinese characters, legal concepts, literature, and Teaching Chinese as a Second Language (TCSL) methodologies. Furthermore, it aims to build problem-solving capabilities, leadership, intercultural communication, information technology competency, and data synthesis skills. This prepares students for diverse career paths—such as Chinese language teachers, translators, administrative officers, investment firm employees, journalists, or tour guides—while fostering high professional ethics and opportunities for advanced studies.
