Bachelor of Arts in Chinese for Business aims to train personnel who use Chinese language in their business of a cross-cultural environment. The course is prepared to intensify students with the four basic skills of Chinese: listening, speaking, reading and writing, which enable students to communicate effectively in Chinese. This is a four-year undergraduate program, covering eight semesters. The syllabus of the first and second years is intended to provide students with the Chinese language proficiency and important basic communication skills. The third and fourth years cover more comprehensive and skills-demanding subjects, which give students opportunities to practice and, as a result, master the language communication skills necessary for them to use in business. The main purpose of the curriculum is to enable students to have a high ability of Chinese listening, speaking, reading and writing skills; to get familiar with modern business world common sense and basic theory; to familiarize them with Chinese modern business society and culture; to understanding all aspects of contemporary China's economic and social dynamic; to use Chinese for cross-cultural communication and business communication skillfully; as well as to conduct research and work in cross-cultural business environment; where Chinese in needed.

The Bachelor of Arts in Chinese for Business is a full-time, four-year program. One academic year is divided into two semesters, each of which lasts fifteen weeks and is counted as 3 or 4.5 semesterly credits. For a 3-credit semester lasts 45-hour instruction, while a 4.5-credit one lasts 67.5-hour instruction. Assessments will be made at the end of each semester. Students who complete successfully their study for one semester earn 3 or 4.5 credits.
This is a 4-year program that provides students with extensive networking, internships, and practical experience during their studies. This is a two-year program that is recognized and named as the Associate of Arts in Chinese for Business.
