The Department of Political Science is an important department of the Faculty of Law and Political Science at the Asia-Europe University. This department began operating immediately after implementing the faculty's study programs in 2016. The primary mission of this department is to provide training services in the fields of political science and international relations to students, civil servants, company employees, and non-governmental organizations, among others, so that they are equipped with theoretical knowledge, analytical skills, and professional practice. The ultimate goal is to prepare a path for them to become skilled political scientists and international relations experts, competent political officials, as well as political analysts for both the present and future, using knowledge, expertise, political science, and international relations as the foundation. In order to achieve its mission, the Department of Political Science has carefully selected professors with profound knowledge in political science, international relations, and society, who are currently practicing professionals. As professional academics at educational institutions, public officials holding important positions in government agencies, as well as senior personnel serving in companies and non-governmental organizations.
This study program organized by the Department of Political Science originates from the recognition of various essential needs and priorities in participating in the development of civil society, democracy, human rights, and an economy based on knowledge. This important work comes from the participation and organization by professors, experts, and senior personnel who have experience in developing educational programs at the higher education level, and it is carefully reviewed and regularly updated to align with regional and international trends. The skills that students gain from this educational program will provide them with genuine expertise in political science and international relations.
After obtaining a law degree, graduates can have the following career opportunities:- They can take the civil service exam or work in various ministries.- They can serve as officers in the secretariats of primary administrative offices or high-level administrative offices.- They can work as assistants or secretaries to judges, royal prosecutors, or lawyers.- They can take exams to become professional law students in various fields such as judges, royal prosecutors, registrars, clerks, lawyers, or court officials.- They can become consultants, police officers, professors, central officials, prosecutors, or notaries.
