On June 01, 2013, H.E. Duong Leang, Rector of Asia Euro University and the management board, welcomed the visit of Mr. Vong Yungly, Deputy Director General of Hun Pann, who led the delegates of Cong Chheou Institute, Chinese central office, in order to pay a visit to Asia Euro University after the celebration of conference—the 2013 Asia Continent at Confucius Institute.

During the meeting, H.E Duong Leang said that Asia Euro University makes determined efforts to develop relations with China, especially in terms of language, culture and economy. Currently, China is the world's second largest economy. With a clear view, Asia Euro University does not hesitate to collaborate with Confucius of Royal Academy of Cambodia in order to bridge and cement our relations with China, in particular in the area of Chinese language training at Asia Euro University.

In the meantime, Mr. Vong Yungly showed a great pleasure toward H.E Duong Leang, Rector of Asia Euro University, who warmly welcomed him and other delegates. Furthermore, Mr. Vong Yungly appreciated Asia Euro University which is the first place to conduct Chinese Higher Education in Cambodia.

As a result of the meeting, Mr. Vong Yong Ly promised:

1. He will transfer more Chinese professors to Asia Euro University in order to lecture/ teach Chinese language to the students who are pursuing bachelor's degree in Chinese at Asia Euro University.

2. He encourages Asia Euro University to have its own professors of Chinese. Those professors have to be trained in China for masters degree of Chinese language.

3. He will provide Asia Euro University's students with books, research documents and master’s degree scholarships to China.
